To harness this potential the Indian industries Association (HA) is hosting the 1 IA International tourism and hospitality Expo Varanasi 2025″ from 18 to 19 December in Varanasi. This is the first time that an expo is specially focused on tourism and hospitality industry together is being organised in Varanasi
This expo is strategically designed to showcase the immense opportunities and largely untapped potential across tourism culture and hospitality to a global audience. It will bring global investors, diplomat, business leaders and entrepreneurs and cultural stakeholders together on a common platform, which will open a channel for dialogue and partnership amongst them. As the Expo aims to explore the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Varanasi, special emphasis has been given on the Budhists circuit.
The Buddhist circuit is a special journey following the life of Gautam Budh and the early days of Buddhism. Three of its major sites are located near Varanasi, which makes the city a premier hub for tourist and pilgrims from Buddhist nations. Over the two days, the expo will feature high-level conferences, panel discussions, exhibitions, B2B networking, and curated site visits which will highlight both investment potential and cultural richness. It will also provide stage for Indian artisans under One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, creating new global linkage for traditional Crafts. The Expo aim to establish Varanasi not only as a timeless spiritual destination but also as a modern hub of tourism, culture and sustainable economic growth by generating concrete investment agreements, boosting the international tourist, arrival and strengthening cultural and diplomatic ties.
