“MSME ko badhana hai, Viksit Bharat banana hai”

MSME – The Backbone of Industrial Growth

The Hon’ble Prime Minister has consistently emphasized that MSMEs are the backbone of India’s industrial economy and a prominent sector for future growth and employment generation. MSMEs today represent India’s potential substitute for imports, particularly in strategic sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, food processing, medical devices, and packaging.

Through these expos, IIA aims to:

  • Facilitate capacity building, lean management, and technology upgradation;
  • Promote joint ventures, global collaborations, and skill partnerships;
  • Strengthen MSMEs to become globally competitive and sustainable.

In the spirit of the Prime Minister’s call — “MSME ko badhana hai, Viksit Bharat banana hai” — IIA envisions empowering small industries to become pillars of India’s self-reliant economy.

Attracting Foreign Investment through Tourism & Hospitality

The International Tourism & Hospitality Expo–2025 at Varanasi — the Cultural Capital of India and the Parliamentary Constituency of Hon’ble Prime Minister — offers a powerful global stage to attract investment in tourism, hospitality, infrastructure, Healthcare and allied sectors.

It will connect foreign investors, hotel chains, tour operators, travel boards, and government delegations, supporting Invest UP’s mission to project Uttar Pradesh as a preferred investment destination.

Strengthening Cultural & Spiritual Tourism Diplomacy

The Expo also aims to engage and attract Hindi-speaking nations and countries rooted in Buddhist and Jain beliefs — including Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Japan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Cambodia, and Laos — to view Uttar Pradesh as the ultimate destination for spiritual, cultural, artistic, and material satisfaction.

From Sarnath to Kushinagar and from Ayodhya to Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh embodies the living heritage of peace, faith, and enlightenment. These global linkages offer immense potential for spiritual and cultural tourism, and Invest UP’s involvement can help institutionalize partnerships in pilgrimage infrastructure, wellness tourism, and creative industries.

Expanding Medical Tourism & MSME Role in Healthcare Manufacturing

Uttar Pradesh, with its improving healthcare infrastructure and connectivity, can also emerge as a major medical tourism hub.

IIA proposes to promote investment in:

Healthcare and wellness facilities, attracting international patients and visitors;

Establishing MSMEs as import substitutes for medical equipment, consumables, and durable products by importing advanced technology and manufacturing locally.

This initiative aligns with “Make in India – Make for the World” and strengthens Atmanirbhar Bharat by developing indigenous capabilities in medical technology and associated sectors
